Trip to Vienna, Austria\'s capital

Trip to Vienna, Austria's capital

Vienna has been voted the world’s best city to live in and for a reason!

Not being the first time I have visited this beautiful city, I thought it was about time I shared these experiences with you all.

Summer escape to Ormos Panagias

Summer escape to Ormos Panagias

Beaches, sea food and one easy accessible location for a summer escape or vacation.

Ormos Panagias, is one of the most visited vacation places in the Chalkidiki region, Greece. It is a small village located on the east coast of Sithonia, close to a number of beautiful beaches. A lot of people choose to have their vacation here, because it’s a really peaceful place. I personally choose it not only because of that but because it’s also a short 2.30 hours drive from my home town of Blagoevgrad.

The cosmopolitan city of Istanbul

The cosmopolitan city of Istanbul

Our Easter plans changed dramatically a Ljubljana and Venice's expense as we took a 180 degree turn to the east and the lovely city of Istanbul, Turkey.

This was our first visit to the Turkish megacity and everything was absolutely new to us. The culture is different as well as the traditions. Of course for the Christians it was Easter, but for most of Turkey it was just another weekend.

Seven Rila Lakes, Bulgaria

Along the Rila Monastery, the Seven Rila Lakes is another must visit place in Bulgaria.

The Seven Rila lakes are a group of lakes located in the beautiful Rila mountain, Bulgaria and situated between 2100 and 2500 meters above sea level. A visit to the Seven Rila lakes is a great one day trip idea and one that will not dissapoint.

New year, new list of Greek islands to visit

New year, new list of Greek islands to visit

The lucky few selected for the summer of 2017 are Corfu, Skiathos, Skopelos and lastly Santorini. Let's dive into it!

Summer is fast approaching and it’s about time we are welcomed by some new, nice and warm destinations. As you probably know by now and have followed our blog, I’m a big a fan of Greece and its many islands. Hopefully very soon I will have the privilege of visiting them all. So far I have been to the picturesque islands of Zante, Lefkada, Kefalonia and Mykonos.

St. Valentine\'s Day in Rome, Italy

St. Valentine's Day in Rome, Italy

One of the most romantic cities in the world, during the most romantic holiday of the year. So many things to see and so many things to do, that 4 nights seemed barely enough time for all.

Though I have been to Rome before it was on a completely different occasion this time. Back then I didn’t have the time to appreciate the Eternal City fully, and have realized that time is never enough and that’s why it’s important to make the most of it on every trip.

Ljubljana, Slovenia

Ljubljana, Slovenia

A visit to the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana during Easter.

I’m obsessed with the idea of visiting all European capitals and gradually progress towards achieving this goal. So far, I’ve been to Belgrade, Athens, Budapest, Vienne, Rome, Zagreb and now I’m glad to share that I have booked a trip to the capital of Slovenia during the Easter holidays.

Belgrade, Serbia. The budget stop after celebreting New Year\'s Eve in Split, Croatia

Belgrade, Serbia. The budget stop after celebreting New Year's Eve in Split, Croatia

I’ve visited the Serbian capital several times, including the New Year’s Eve of 2014 and spending a night there on our way back from Split was the most logical choice. Otherwise the road trip of about 1300 kilometres would have been too much.

Our festive holiday continued in the city of Split, Croatia

Our festive holiday continued in the city of Split, Croatia

I have to tell you right from the beginning, that I absolutely fell in love with this city. We stayed there for three days and it felt that the time wasn’t enough to enjoy it all. We covered all of the landmarks we wanted to see, but couldn’t do all of the activities we had planned, since it was New Year and there were some limitations. However, we did see some things that we hadn’t planned originally.
